AG Submits Report on Review of Re-branding Contract of MTB In line Directive The Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has received for study, the report on the review of the contract for the spraying and branding of 116 buses for the Metro Mass Bus Transit Company. Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, submitted the report on Tuesday in line with a directive from the Chief of Staff. It may be recalled that, the Chief of Staff, Mr. Julius Debrah directed the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice to review the contract and related payments on the spraying and rebranding of the 116 new intra-city buses. This follows controversy that raged over the spending of about GHC 3,649,044 on the re-branding of the 116 buses government imported to improve the transport system in the country. The directive was contained in a letter from the Chief Of Staff to the Attorney-General. The Minority Leader in Parliament, Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who revealed the payment during the final debate to approve the 2016 Budget described the cost as outrageous and has vowed to get Parliament to review the contract.
