22nd December, 2015 The Daily Graphic says the power crisis that hit the nation in 2012 and has persisted for more than three years has dealt a terrible blow to the otherwise good fortunes that should have made the nation proud. The Paper believes it has been the expectations of Ghanaians that by now the problem would have been resolved but it lingers on. The Graphic says it is part of resolving the issue that the PURC is proposing an increase in charges for power. The Graphic cautions that while it may be a way out, there is also the fact that there are poor people who will not be able to afford the cost of those realistic prices. GBC
