GFA opens two-day workshop on Media and Marketing The Ghana Football Association (GFA), on Monday, opened a two-day workshop for stakeholders in media and marketing, as part of efforts to boost their operations ahead of the start of the new season. The workshop, which was attended by Chief Executive Officers of the various Premier and Division One League Clubs, members of the Executive Committee, media personnel and other key stakeholder was to bring them in line with the modern trends of the game. Participants were taken through training on media and publicity operations, whilst the marketing seminar focused on how to equip clubs with the knowledge to seek their private sponsorship, with top resource persons from Ghana and South Africa sharing knowledge with participants. The workshop saw Dr. Samuel Ofei addressing participants on “How to court business organizations to sponsor football clubs in Ghana”. SuperSport television chief producer for West Africa Siboniso Ngubane also addressed the clubs on taking advantage of continental television broadcast of the league matches to their benefits.
