Korle-Bu Board and Directors deny allegations made against CEO Dr. Gilbert Buckle

The Board and Directors of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has denied allegations that the Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) Dr. Gilbert Buckle has being mismanaging resources of the hospital.  

The Board Chairman of the hospital Professor Sallah said no judgement debt has accrued to the hospital since assuming office in September 2014. 

At news conference to respond to recent allegations by the senior staff of the hospital of financial misappropriation, Prof. Sallah said Korle has not funded any personal travels of the CEO Gilbert Buckle.

Prof. Sallah said the Korle-Bu Senior Staff Association has been invited to meet with the management and board since the allegations broke out but declined all the invitations. 

He said since assuming office the Korle-Bu management have managed to block all the revenue leakages which have led to the realisation of one point 8 million Ghana Cedis to the hospital.

He said the board is in full support with the management style of the CEO and will continue to stand by him.
