Kiddafest 2015 opens in Accra The 22rd edition of the Accra International Children’s Arts Festival dubbed: ‘Kiddafest,’ a platform to mark the best in children’s creativity has opened in Accra at the National Theatre. The two-day festival being organised by the National Theater in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts is on the theme: “Creating Harmony through Cultural Diversity.” The festival since its inception over the two decades has offered children from all walks of life, the platform to showcase their skills through various artistic performances. The Public Relations Manager of National Theatre Mr Joe Tuffour Addo, said this year the children will thrill the audience with indoor and outdoor performance such as drama, choral music, puppetry, acrobatics, poetry recitals and dance competition. Mr Addo said the festival would be led by Tic Tac, the well-known musician, who would delight fans with his performances. He said the Theatre is committed to help young children realise their potential through the festival and would continue to ensure its sustainability. The audience were thrilled with music, drama and performances from schools such as NISSI International School, Living Proof Montessori, Veritas Preparatory School, St Michael School, Pan African Youth Orchestra and St Joseph Montessori.
