Court throws out Afoko’s injunction case An Accra Human Rights Court has dismissed the injunction application filed by the suspended Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, to restrain the party from any act intended to remove him from office during its extraordinary National Delegates Congress in Sunyani. The Court presided over by Justice Anthony Yeboah held that, Mr. Afoko has not shown any irreparable damage he will suffer if the injunction is not granted. Justice Yeboah was of the view that Mr. Afoko has a protective legal right and can go to court to seek redress in the instance where the party takes any unfavourable decision against him. GBC
