CAGD to stop printing of payslips for government employees

The Controller and Accountant General's Department (CAGD) will from January next year, stop the printing of payslips for government employees. 

This follows the successful implementation of the Electronic Payslips system, which allows workers to have access to their payslips online. 

A statement by the Controller and Accountant General's Department says from January, the online slips can be used to support applications for credit facilities and other official purposes.
