NPP holds Extraordinary Delegates Congress in Sunyani Tomorrow 


As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) holds an Extraordinary Delegates Congress in Sunyani tomorrow, Saturday, December 19, 2015, a Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Dr. Alidu Seidu is asking the NPP to start doing some positive things after the Sunyani Congress to make a positive impact in the 2016 elections.  

He said the negative image that the Party has come to be associated with in recent times has far reaching consequences in 2016.  

Dr. Seidu said the Party must do well to close it's ranks to give the NDC a good run in the 2016 elections.

Meanwhile, an injunction application filed by the suspended National Chairman of the NPP, Paul Afoko to restrain the party from any act intended to remove him from office has suffered a set-back. 

The application is to prevent the party from taking an action intended to remove him as  Chairman during the Extraordinary National Delegates Congress at Sunyani this tomorrow, Saturday, December 19, 2015. 

The Human Rights Court presided over by Justice Dennis Adjei ordered a transfer of the case to a different court. 

Justice Adjei who was scheduled to hear the injunction application yesterday failed to do so explaining that he is starting his Christmas break from Today.
