THE DAILY GRAPHIC implores all parents to spend this festive occasion with their children as family. The paper believes developmental goals can be attained if discipline is exhibited in various homes. The Graphic says the quest for livelihood especially in the urban areas continues to place so much constraints on parents such that they are unable to effectively monitor and train the younger ones.  Some parents leave children in the care of teachers and house helps. And according to the paper these people may not play the parenting or guardianship as expected. The Graphic therefore calls on parents to stay with their wards this festive season and groom the children well.


THE GHANAIAN TIMES calls on government to find solution to alleviating poverty and material hardship of the youth. It said this in relation to Joseph Ayinne a 22 year old graduate of the Bawku Technical Institute of the Upper East Region who has moved down to the South to hustle and raise money for his education. The paper believes millions of Ghanaian youth are also facing similar problems as Joseph  Ayinne. The paper says millions of school dropouts have the talents, ability and aspiration for a better future if supported.


THE Editorial of the FOCUS newspaper calls on NPP party, faithful not to lose hope, but rather control charged emotions. The paper says the party may have fallen, but the most important thing is the ability to rise again. The Focus says the masses must be made to understand the challenges confronting the nation and not suspension of party faithful.
