Karpowership begins generating 140 megawatts of power The Karpowership which is expected to generate 225 megawatt of power has begun generating 140 megawatt of power from seven out of the ten turbines. A source at the Tema port told GBC's Radio Ghana that the three remaining turbines are expected to be fired on stream by next week Friday. The source said there are a few technical works still ongoing on the barge to get it fully operational. The official inauguration of the barge this Friday has however been postponed due to the technical works that need to be completed and the tight schedule of the President. GBC
