Veep Calls For International Support For Lasting Peace In Middle East Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has called for a diplomatic intervention for the full implementation of the Oslo peace agreement between Israel and the state of Palestine. He said Ghana is interested in seeing Both Israel and the state of Palestine coming together for a mutually agreeable solution that allows their citizens to live in peace. He said this when the Ambassador of the state of Palestine, Abdalfatah A.A. Aisattari called on him at the flagstaff house, in Accra. Vice President Amissar- Arthur also affirmed Ghana’s continuous support for international peace efforts to bring lasting peace to the Middle East. He said Ghana is also looking forward for more economic cooperation between Ghana and the state of Palestine for the benefit of their citizens. Adding, that Ghana has a strong ties in areas including politics and culture with the state of Palestine over the years and it’s about time to expand those frontiers. Ambassador Abdalfatah A.A. Aisattari was grateful of Ghana’s support over the years. He explained that terrorism is not Islam and called for help to eradicate it. GBC
