Government agrees to pay NAGRAT in ten days Government has agreed to pay the National Association of Graduate Teacher’s (NAGRAT) and Coalition of Concern Teachers, (CTT) their incremental arrears within the next ten days. This was after a crunch meeting between the two bodies and government today. Government has committed itself to pay all amounts owed every teacher in ten days and an MOU has been signed to that effect. The signing was witnessed by the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu and the Chief Executive of the Fair Wages and the Salaries Commission, George Smith Graham. Early on, the National Executives of NAGRAT endorsed the planned strike by some of its members. The Greater Accra and Ashanti Regional branches served notices of the intended strike if government failed to pay allowances which have been in arrears for several months. GBC
