Centre to monitor trans-border crimes inaugurated in Accra

The West African Police Information System, WAPIS, has been inaugurated in Accra.  

The Minister of the Interior, Mark Owen Woyongo, who inaugurated the center said WAPIS stemmed from ECOWAS member countries concern over the spate of transnational crimes and terrorism affecting the region.
