Challenges with cash flow does not make Ghana HIPC- Financial Analyst

A Financial Analyst, Isaac Adongo says it is a misconception for anybody or group of experts to say that President Mahama has made Ghana HIPC.

Explaining the indications, Mr. Adongo said the fact that today there are challenges with cash flow does not make Ghana HIPC.

The Minority in Parliament early this month said Ghana could return to the Highly Indebted Poor Country (HIPC) regime if government continues to secure more loans from foreign institutions.

This Mr. Adongo disagrees with.

He said the medium and long term outlook of the economy is good because Ghana's oil revenue is increasing as well as other key export commodities.
