Emergency Response Centre Inaugurated

Ghanaians will now heave a sigh of relief following the inauguration of an emergency call centre. 

It will receive emergency calls and forward them to the appropriate agencies for a quick response to emergencies nationwide. 

Minister for Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah said the centre is part of government's vision of ensuring that the people do not go through difficulty in reaching emergency response agencies in times of need.

Ghanaians will now have to dial 112 and lodge their complaints which would be channeled to the appropriate agencies for prompt response.
