3 Ghanaian pilgrims confirmed Dead in Hajj 



The Hajj Board has confirmed the death of three Ghanaian pilgrims in the ongoing Hajj in Mecca.

According to the Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Rauf Tanko, the deaths are not related to the stampede that left more than seven hundred pilgrims dead.

He said the identities of the dead are yet to be released.

Explaining the cause of death, Alhaji Tanko said one died from convulsion whiles the other two died from malaria.

The bodies of the deceased, he said, are currently at morgue in Mina.

He said five pilgrims in Ghana's camp are also reported missing. Alhaji Rauf blamed the pilgrims for flouting the laid down rules governing movement.
