Leap Disbursement begins today

The disbursement of the 38th cycle of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty, LEAP, program begins Monday. 

Government has made an upward adjustment of grants to beneficiaries of the programme. 

For now, a beneficiary who received GH¢48 in the past now receives GH¢64, two-member households which received GH¢60 in the past now receives GH¢76. 

The amount for three-member households has shot up from GH¢72.00 to GH¢88.00, while four or more beneficiaries in a household will be paid GH¢106.
