UN pledges to support Ghana achieve Sustainable Development Goals

The UN says it will support government in all spheres to help it achieve the Sustainable Development Goal`s, SDG`s.  

UN Country Director, Christine Evans Klock made the commitment during a flag raising ceremony at the UN office in Accra, to launch the seventeen SDG`s which are replacing the millennium Development Goals, MDG`s. 

The ceremony also coincides with the launch of the Goals in New York today, where President Mahama and world leaders from more than one hundred countries will be present.  

Madam Evans Klock said the SDG`s have been carefully rolled out to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations.
