21st September marked exactly two years of the death of Professor Kofi Awoonor

Monday 21st September marked exactly two years of the death of Professor Kofi Awoonor who died in an attack at the West gate shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya.

 Professor Awoonor was due to perform that evening before his death, at the 'Story Moja Hay' festival, a four-day celebration of writing, thinking and storytelling.

 In remembering him, GBC24 caught up with his children, Sika and Kekeli Awoonor who shared their fond memories of him.
