The Daily Graphic expresses the need for open governance in Burkina Faso. The Paper celebrates the restoration of order in the neighbouring country and stands by the position that West Africa has come a long way in its quest to make democracy a permanent feature in the Sub-region. The Paper reminds military leaders in Burkina Faso, that the era of efficacious take-overs has ended and it is time to respect the will and decision of the electorate. The Graphic implores political groupings to allow the communal drive of the people to prevail to determine the outcome of the governance process in Burkina Faso. 

The Times says the ban on the export of certain types of vegetables to the European market is very worrying. This is because it will affect those engaged in the export of non-traditional goods, which will adversely affect the economy. The Times acknowledges that in every business endeavour, some of the exporters will attempt to circumvent the laid down guidelines and adopt unprofessional means to facilitate their businesses. It however behoves the inspectorate or regulatory agencies to monitor the processes and ensure strict compliance. The Times urges the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to ensure that stakeholders collaborate effectively, to streamline the processes and bring the sector back on track, to avoid Ghana losing a huge chunk of its export earnings.
