The Ghanaian Times commends leaders of ECOWAS and the International community for the swift manner in which they acted to restore political sanity to Burkina Faso. According to the paper, this peace is essential because the sub-region has witnessed too many wars natural and self-conflicted calamities that cannot be allowed to recur in Burkina Faso. It is the hope of the paper that all parties to the conflict would religiously abide by the peace accord and implement it to the letter for peaceful co-existence between the functions.

The Daily Graphic wishes all Muslims Barka da Sallah. The Paper asks all Ghanaians to let the act of sacrifice reflect on their personal and national endeavours. It says Eid-Ul-Adha provides the right platform in defending the sense of belongingness and unity as a people. It is the sincere hope of the paper that Christians will join their Muslim counterparts as they mark another event on the Islamic calendar. The Graphic says on the occasions that Christians have celebrated their festivals, Muslim have participated in them and shared in the joy of the occasion. The Paper therefore urges Muslim leaders to use the platform to engage the youth on the need for peace, and to refrain from being used as tools for creating needless tension and mayhem.
