Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology to set up Tech Fund The Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation is proposing two percent of property rates paid to MMDAs and one percent of the petroleum revenue to fund a National Science, Technology and Innovation system in Ghana. The fund will cater for science and technology programs, research and development and competitiveness on the global market. At a consultative meeting in Accra, sector Minister, Mahama Ayariga said such a fund is urgent because of the many innovations that are hidden due to lack of money.
