There is still work to be done on maternal mortality and sanitation Dr Esther Ofei-Aboagye announced

Ghana's performance during the Millennium Development Goals programme which ends this month has been a mixed one.  

While progress has been made in achieving goals on poverty, hunger and universal primary education; there is still work to be done on the goals on maternal mortality and sanitation. 

The Vice Chairperson of the National Development Planning Commission,Dr Esther Ofei-Aboagye announced this at the launch of the last MDG report in Accra.
