Ghanaians charged to protect prevailing peace The Chairman of the National Peace Council, Professor Emmanuel Asante, has called on Ghanaians to live up to the name peace loving people and endeavour to maintain the current peace that the country is enjoying. He said peace is not the absence of war but includes respect for the rights of each other and faithfully upholding the rules of engagement. Professor Asante said this in an interview with Radio Ghana as the Global community celebrates World Peace Day. He said every individual must strive to be peace loving. GBC
