Yamoah Ponko joins race for NDC parliamentary ticket

Immediate past Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu-Juaben, Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, has joined the race for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary ticket for the Ejisu Constituency.

He is in the contest with two others, Deputy Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser, Gloria Huze, and Sampson Kwame Ohene Darko. 

Speaking after filing his nomination, Mr. Yamoah Ponko, said he was the best candidate for the party and appealed to the delegates to vote for him. 

He pledged to wrest the parliamentary seat, which has been held by the NPP since 1996. 

He appealed to other contestants to ensure a clean and decent campaign.
