Black Queens win gold in All Africa Games 

The Senior National Women's team, the Black Queens have won Gold in the ongoing All Africa Games in Congo following their One- nil victory over Cameroon this afternoon. 

Ghana went into the game with an image redemption mission against the Indomitable Lioness after the Queens suffered a defeat in the finals of the last edition in 2011. 

An 87th minute half volley strike from Portia Boakye ensured victory for Ghana at the Kintele Sports Stadium. 

The result has increased Ghana's medal haul to 19; two gold, nine silver and eight bronze medals.
