Ghana National Association of the Deaf calls for driver’s license The Ghana National Association of the Deaf says the DVLA's refusal to give them Driving License is an infringement on their rights. Quoting the relevant articles of the constitution, the Executive Director of the Association, James Sambian appealed to the DVLA to look beyond their disability. He said research has proven that deaf people have better driving records. Mr. Sambian said granting them driving license will help to create job opportunities for the deaf. GBC
