Don’t Air Anas’ Video – Statesman

A statesman, Nii Kwomi Ashongbor has added his voice to calls to investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas to put on hold the public showing of the video on alleged corruption in the judiciary.  

He says airing of the video has the potential to undermine public confidence in the judiciary, and this can erode the trust investors have in Ghana as a business destination.

The judicial scandal story dubbed “Ghana in the eyes of God” would be premiered at the Conference Centre in Accra on September, 22.

The high-profile judges have been captured on either video or audio allegedly collecting bribes in order to give judgements in favour of those who had offered them – sometimes to the highest bidders.
