Independent Power producers globally meet in Accra

Independent Power Producers across the globe are meeting in Accra to discuss how to accelerate the deployment of capital for power generation and access to electricity supply in Ghana. 

The meeting is seen as crucial in positioning Ghana as an energy hub by adding up to government's efforts to grow the energy sector. 

Radio Ghana’s Rebecca Ekpe reports that the Power Minister, Kwabena Donkor assured the investors that their concerns about high tariffs are being addressed as part of challenges confronting the country's energy sector.
