Ghana Gas and West African Pipelines to Construct Reverse Pipe to Tema

Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Gas Dr. George Sipah Yankey has confirmed that his outfit and the West African Gas Pipeline will construct a reverse pipeline to evacuate gas to thermal plants in the Tema enclave whenever plants in the Aboadze zone malfunction.

Speaking at a gas forum in Accra, Dr. Yankey said the project has become necessary as the country positions herself to produce between 300 and 400 million standard cubic feet of gas in the medium term.
