Pressure Group kickstarts planned picketing at EC

The planned picketing of the Electoral Commission has already started at the Obra Spot this morning. 

Hundreds of Ghanaians, clad in their white attire, are gathered at the Obra Spot, Circle, to offer their support for this important national campaign for a new, credible voters' register,  according to a statement issued this morning and signed by the Convener of the group, David Asante.

The statement said the group is however, waiting for some people coming from the regions who have asked that they wait for them.

It further stated that the demonstration will move from the Obra Spot by 11am for the peaceful walk to the EC.
