Pressure Group "Let My Vote Count" Protests To Mount Pressure on EC For New Voters Register


The Convener of Pressure Group, Let My Vote Count, organisers of today's march to demand a new voters' register, David ASante has expressed disappointment at the decision of the Accra Regional Police Command to seek a court injunction to stop the group from picketing at the EC. 

Mr. Asante said the police had always insisted on stopping them from picketing at the EC and the court order is just a legal backing for the unfortunate development. 

He is however, happy that they still have the chance to march through some principal streets of Accra to present their petition to  the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
