International Conference on cassava opens in Accra The first Cassava International Conference opens in Accra Wednesday. It will bring together industrialists, researchers, farmers and political leaders in Agriculture to brain storm on how to upgrade and harmonize the value chain of cassava. The National Programme Coordinator, of Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment, Roy Ayariga said cassava is grown across Africa and other parts of the world. He stressed the importance of the conference saying that cassava has become a vital product for food security and industrial input. GBC
