Education Ministry gets tough on distractions to Female Education

The Ministry of Education is asking the Ghana Education Service to punish adults and especially teachers who distract female students from accessing higher levels of education.

In similar vein the ministry has also appealed to traditional authorities to remove impediments that hinder the education of the girl child especially to the tertiary level.

These according to the Deputy Minister of Education in Charge of tertiary Education, Samuel Okudjeto-Ablakwa will help address the gender disparity in education.
