Rule Of Law Will Be Meaningless Without Justice – Kufuor 

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has called for equal access to justice for everyone adding that without this the rule of law will be meaningless. 

He said access to justice should not be based on how much one can pay saying justice is the foundation of a fair and democratic society. 

Speaking at the annual conference of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) in Kumasi on Monday, former President Kufuor called for decisive measures to be taken to deal with the judges caught in the scandal.

His comments come after a total of 34 judges were caught engaging in corrupt practices and taking bribes to influence their decision on cases before them.
