Deal with only accredited institutions – President Mahama 

President John Mahama has tasked the Management of the Student Loan Trust Fund, SLTF to verify the status of institutions students have applied for and programmes they are admitted to pursue to find out if they are accredited. 

This is a way of protecting students and ensuring sustainability of the fund. 

President Mahama in a speech read for him at the 10th Anniversary of SLTF said the fund is for all Ghanaian Students in both Public and Private Tertiary Institutions.
