CPP sets date for National Delegates Congress in Sunyani

The Convention People's Party has slated the 18th and 19th of this month for its National Delegates Congress in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region. 

Announcing the date to the media in Accra on Friday, the Chairman of the congress committee, Wing commander Patrick Nelson Sogbodjo said everything has been put in place and they expect a successful congress.

The Chairperson for Accreditation and Elections, Elizabeth Akpalu, who also doubles as the Chairperson for Women's Affairs said twenty one people are contesting for the nine Executive positions in the party. 

Former CPP National Chairman, Prof. Edmund Delle is staging a comeback and he is going unopposed.
