MOH concludes new conditions of service for Community Health Nurses The Ministry of Health has concluded a new condition of service for Community Health Nurses as part of a broader policy towards a universal health coverage. Community Health Nurses can now rise through the ranks to the status of a Deputy Director of Nursing, compared with previous restrictions which allowed such nurses to rise to a Supervising Community Health Nurse which was still considered a lower grade. The Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, Sylvester Anemana, made this known at the opening of the 23rd Annual General Meeting of the District Directors of Health Services Group, in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
