NDC Closes Nominations For Presidential And Parliamentary Elections Today NDC will close the filing of nominations for Presidential and Parliamentary elections on Thursday. President Mahama remains the only candidate who has filed to contest the party's Presidential primaries. Notable among those who have already filed to contest the parliamentary primaries are Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh, Majority leader Alban Bagbin, MP for Ningo Prampram - E.T.Mensah and MP for Zebilla - Cletus Avoka. Others billed to file on Thursday include Sports Minister Mustapha Ahmed and Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and MP for Odododiodio, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye. The party opened nominations on August 27, for both presidential and parliamentary primaries. Parliamentary candidates are to file their nomination at a fee of GH¢10,000.00, while presidential candidates pay GH¢50,000.00.
