Pope Francis makes it easier for Catholics to remarry
 
Pope Francis has introduced new procedures enabling Catholics to divorce and re-marry while remaining in the Church. 

The Pope set up a commission of Church lawyers last year to look at how to streamline the procedures known as annulment. 

Details of the procedures will be made public today. 

The move by Pope Francis is also to allow Catholics who have gone through these procedures to communion.
