CODEO gives thumps up to EC for conduct of District Level Elections

The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers, CODEO has described the just ended District level Elections as free, fair and having been conducted in line with Electoral laws. 

The Co-chairperson of CODEO, Professor Miranda Greenstreet who addressed the media in Accra on Monday, said the coalition deployed more than 700 observers comprising five hundred stationary and two hundred roaming observers as poll watchers.

The Co-chairperson of CODEO, entreated the Electoral Commission to review its performance on election days.

Professor Miranda Greenstreet said consistent low turnout in the district level elections should give cause for concern due to the huge resources pumped into the last elections.
