Mexico missing students: Official account rejected

An independent investigation into the disappearance of 43 Mexican students nearly a year ago has rejected the government's account of events. 

The report was compiled by experts from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights after doubts were expressed about the official version. 

The students disappeared in the southern Guerrero state late September last year. The Mexican government has now ordered a new investigation.
