Ashantigold FC wins 2014/2015 First Capital Plus League

Ashantigold FC has won the 2014/2015 First Capital plus League after beating WAFA by a lone goal in the penultimate fixtures on Sunday. 

Emmanuel Osei got the match winner after converting a penalty in the 72nd minute to secure a 4th league title for the Miners. 

Elsewhere at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak beat Berekum Chelsea by 3 goals to 2, and moved to 5th position. 

Also, Eric Donkor scored late to hand Asante Kotoko a vital 1-0 win against Sekondi Hasacaas at the Essipong Stadium. 

Meanwhile, Accra Great Olympics continue to wallow in relegation zone after suffering a 2 nil defeat to Heart of Lions in Kpando.
