Journalists to pay GHc8 to cover district level elections

Journalists covering the September 1st District Assembly Elections will have to pay eight cedis before getting accreditation to cover the exercise. 

According to some journalists in the Ashanti and Western regions, the Electoral Commission (EC) there has asked them to pay the amount or forfeit coverage of the elections.  

Some journalist who spoke to Radio Ghana say they are confused about the EC's move.
