Central laboratory to check fuel adulteration set up

The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) have jointly established a laboratory to aid in further reducing adulterated petroleum products on the market.

The Central Laboratory of the product marking Scheme is intended to also give the GSA the impetus as a third party to verify products as well as adjudicate issues between the NPA and the oil marketing companies.
