IGP visits communities hit by armed robberies

The Inspector-General of Police today visited Amanfrom and other communities in Ngleshi- Amanfrom  in the Greater Accra Region, following armed robbery attacks in that area. 

The people of Amanfrom have been under attack from suspected criminals for the past three months. 

The attacks have prompted the police in collaborating with the community to put up a temporal post to deal with the robberies. 

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the police, Superintendent Cephas Arthur in interview with Radio Ghana said the IGP’s tour was to familiarize himself with situations on the ground, adding that some persons in connection of the robbery have been arrested and sentenced.
