Ghana committed to reducing CO2 emissions The Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mahama Ayariga, says Ghana is making international commitments regarding CO2 emissions. He disclosed that in December this year, the Ministry will be in Paris to sign unto a Global Compact on Environment after which Ghana will be expected to make some commitments on reducing CO2 emissions to ensure that the environment is protected. Mr. Ayariga said this when he paid an unannounced visit to some steel manufacturing companies in Tema.
