Two Nato soldiers killed in Afghan insider attack

Two people in Afghan military uniforms opened fire on a vehicle, killing two NATO soldiers at a military base in the south. 

Their nationalities are not yet known. 

A coalition spokesperson said soldiers returned fire killing the attackers. 

The incident occurred early today in Helmand province. 

There have been dozens of attacks in which Afghan security personnel have targeted their Western allies since 2007. 

No group has accepted responsibility for the latest attack.
