Minister calls for effective urban management 

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Alhaji Collins Dauda, has charged city authorities, technocrats and traditional leaders to draw up effective plans for Urban Management. 

This is to compliment government's effort at making cities and human settlement safe. 

He said government is committed to promoting well-structured and integrated urban development. 

The Minister was speaking at the fifth urban forum and re-launch of land, service and citizenship programme, LSC, in Accra. 

He asked them to come up with innovative ways of urban management and funding for infrastructural development.
