Minority accuses government of running down Agric sector The NPP in Parliament is accusing government of running down the agricultural sector. The Minority spokesperson on Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie-Akoto is raising questions over the allocation of only one point one percent of the budget and only eight point four percent of oil revenue to the sector over the last few years. Dr Afriyie Akoto was speaking to Radio Ghana ahead of a news conference at Goaso in the Brong Ahafo region. He indicated that Ghana this year recorded the lowest volume of cocoa harvest in ten years.
